Whiteline Rear Vehicle Essentials – Bushing Kit – 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / 2004-2007 STI

Description:

Whiteline Rear Vehicle Essentials Bushing Kit - 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / 2004-2007 STI

Refresh Every Critical Rear Bushing at Once
On a GD WRX or STI with significant mileage, rear suspension bushings are a common source of handling vagueness, noise, and inconsistency. Whiteline's Rear Vehicle Essentials Kit bundles the key rear bushing positions into one matched set, so everything gets done at once with compounds selected for each specific location. Metal components feature protective plating that acts as a hard skin -- tougher than conventional paint -- for long-term corrosion resistance.

DETAILS

• Covers key rear suspension bushing positions for 2002-2007 Subaru WRX and 2004-2007 STI
• Polyurethane compounds selected per bushing function
• Protective plating on all metal components -- tougher than conventional paint
• Engineered as a matched system for balanced handling improvement
• Direct-fit to GD chassis

Protective Plating -- Not Just Paint
Every metal component in Whiteline's Essential Kits uses a protective plating process that creates a surface significantly harder and more corrosion-resistant than standard paint. On rear suspension components that are constantly exposed to road spray, moisture, and temperature cycling, this matters for long-term durability in wet climates and year-round driving conditions.

Matched Compounds for Each Position
Rear suspension bushings serve different functions. Inner trailing arm bushings need controlled compliance to allow correct suspension geometry movement. Lateral link bushings need to resist fore-aft loading without flex. Whiteline engineers the compound for each position -- firmer where the geometry benefit justifies it, more compliant where NVH control is the priority.

The GD Chassis at High Mileage
The GD WRX and STI is an aging platform now -- most examples on the road have well over 100,000 miles. Worn rear bushings on these cars show up as rear-end wander, vague cornering response, and noise over bumps. This kit addresses the root cause comprehensively rather than replacing individual bushings one at a time.

Why Choose Whiteline

Whiteline has been engineering suspension components from their facility in Australia since 1979. Every product in their catalog is developed with a clear goal: measurable improvement in handling, stability, and tyre contact. Whiteline's polyurethane bushings, sway bars, control arms, and alignment correction kits are engineered using finite element analysis and validated on track before they reach the market. Their components are direct-fit, bolt-on solutions designed for enthusiasts who want real performance gains without fabrication or custom work.

The RallySport Take

If your GD WRX or STI has never had a bushing refresh, this rear kit combined with the front kit is the most effective chassis refresh available short of a full rebuild. The improvement in handling precision is significant.
