Description:
Whiteline Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushing Kit - 22mm - Subaru Models (Inc. 2008-2021 WRX/STI)
The Standard 22mm Rear Sway Bar Bushing for GR/GV/VA Subarus
22mm is the most common rear sway bar mount bushing diameter across the GR, GV, and VA Subaru WRX and STI platform. Whiteline's polyurethane replacement -- with knurled inner bore and correct mount geometry -- is the standard service bushing for any 22mm rear sway bar installation on these platforms. Whether you're refreshing OEM mounts or servicing a Whiteline BSR49Z or BSR57Z installation, this bushing is the correct replacement.

- 22mm rear sway bar mount bushing for Subaru models including 2008-2021 WRX and STI

- Knurled inner bore for grease retention and quiet operation
- Broad Subaru platform coverage
- Limited Lifetime Warranty
Broad Coverage -- GR Through VA
This bushing covers the GR (2008-2014), GV (2008-2014 wagon), and VA (2015-2021) WRX and STI chassis. All three generations use 22mm rear sway bar mount geometry consistent enough for a single bushing to cover the range. Wider platform coverage across Subaru models also applies -- check fitment confirmation for your specific application.
The Correct OEM Replacement Size
The GR and VA WRX and STI factory rear sway bars use 22mm diameter -- this bushing is an exact-fit OEM rubber replacement in polyurethane. No sizing guesswork, just the correct bushing for the OEM and aftermarket 22mm bar applications.
Knurled Bore for Long-Term Operation
The knurled inner bore holds grease at the bar-bushing interface and prevents the squeak that develops in plain polyurethane bushings as grease migrates out. Apply grease at installation and expect quiet, long-lasting operation.
Why Choose Whiteline
Whiteline has been engineering suspension components from their facility in Australia since 1979. Every product in their catalog is developed with a clear goal: measurable improvement in handling, stability, and tyre contact. Whiteline's polyurethane bushings, sway bars, control arms, and alignment correction kits are engineered using finite element analysis and validated on track before they reach the market. Their components are direct-fit, bolt-on solutions designed for enthusiasts who want real performance gains without fabrication or custom work.
The RallySport Take
The go-to rear mount bushing for GR/GV/VA WRX and STI owners. Whether replacing worn OEM rubber or servicing an aftermarket 22mm rear bar installation, this is the correct bushing. Installation is a straightforward bar swap -- remove the OEM bar, install the Whiteline unit with the provided polyurethane mount bushings, connect the endlinks. Start in the middle adjustment position and move from there. Adjustable endlinks are a worthwhile companion purchase if the car has been lowered, ensuring the bar operates at zero preload at the new ride height.
