Whiteline Engine Torque Arm Mount Insert Bushing – 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla

Description:

Whiteline Engine Torque Arm Mount Insert Bushing - 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla

Tighten Up GR Corolla Torque Arm Response
The engine torque arm mount on the 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla uses a rubber bushing that allows compliance under the high torque loads generated by the G16E-GTS engine. That compliance translates to powertrain movement under hard acceleration and deceleration -- noticeable as chassis movement during throttle transitions. Whiteline's polyurethane insert bushing reduces this compliance, tightening throttle response and reducing the sensation of drivetrain slop.

DETAILS

• Torque arm mount insert bushing for 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla
• Polyurethane compound reduces compliance under torque loads
• Improves throttle response and reduces powertrain movement
• Drop-in insert -- works with the existing mount housing
• No chassis modifications required

Torque Arm Compliance and Its Effects
The torque arm is designed to resist engine rotation under acceleration and braking. The factory rubber bushing allows some compliance to isolate NVH -- but that compliance also allows the engine and transmission to rotate slightly under hard throttle and aggressive braking. This shows up as a lurching sensation on shift and a vague, slightly delayed throttle response. Whiteline's polyurethane insert stiffens the mount and reduces that movement.

Insert Design -- No Full Mount Replacement
Rather than replacing the entire torque arm mount assembly, this is a drop-in insert that replaces the rubber element within the existing housing. This simplifies installation and reduces cost compared to full mount replacement.

The GR Corolla Driveline Context
The GR Corolla's G16E-GTS turbocharged three-cylinder produces 300+ horsepower in a relatively light car -- the torque loads on the engine mounts are real. Firmer mount bushings are a common modification on high-output cars precisely because the factory compliance is designed for a power level and driving style that doesn't fully represent how these cars are used.

Why Choose Whiteline

Whiteline has been engineering suspension components from their facility in Australia since 1979. Every product in their catalog is developed with a clear goal: measurable improvement in handling, stability, and tyre contact. Whiteline's polyurethane bushings, sway bars, control arms, and alignment correction kits are engineered using finite element analysis and validated on track before they reach the market. Their components are direct-fit, bolt-on solutions designed for enthusiasts who want real performance gains without fabrication or custom work.

The RallySport Take

A worthwhile first drivetrain modification on any GR Corolla. The improvement in throttle response and powertrain stability is immediately noticeable, particularly during aggressive driving. Budget an afternoon for the job -- bushing replacement is not complicated but does require the correct press tools and clean installation technique. Apply grease to all polyurethane-to-metal interfaces and assemble at ride height for correct bushing set. The improvement in chassis feel is immediate and the polyurethane will outlast whatever rubber is in there now.
