Description:

Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit - Raw

Cooling and Aerodynamic Advancements

With significant performance gains, the Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit is a tactical solution meant to address the problems caused by excessive engine bay heat and pressure. When the car is fitted with a Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC), these well-placed louvers help remove hot air from the engine bay more effectively, which improves airflow through the radiator and boosts the cooling stack's efficiency. Moreover, a decrease in front-end lift and a corresponding increase in front-end downforce are the results of the engine bay pressure reduction. The Top Mount Intercooler's (TMIC) performance is also improved by this pressure drop.

Precision-Engineered Design

Verus Engineering used cutting-edge technologies like computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and scan data throughout the design phase. By positioning the louvers in a low-pressure area and making sure they blended in harmoniously with the hood's design, these tools helped maximize the hood's ability to expel hot air.

Tailored for Subaru WRX (VB)

For owners of Subaru WRX (VB) vehicles looking for a purpose-built, extensively tested louver kit that improves cooling and increases aerodynamic performance, Verus Engineering has created the Hood Louver Kit.
