Description:
Unlock Remarkable Horsepower with the PERRIN Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC) - Black
Elevate your WRX's performance effortlessly with one of the market's most substantial Top Mounted Intercoolers.
PERRIN has meticulously optimized every dimension to create the ultimate TMIC for your WRX.
Unleash Power Without a Tune:
Enhance your WRX's horsepower and torque without the need for ECU recalibration or tuning. This part is thoughtfully designed and tested to function safely on your vehicle without any tuning requirements. However, for maximum power gains, consider ECU tuning that accounts for all vehicle modifications.
Power Unleashed:
Rated at well over 600 WHP, the PERRIN core provides an extra-large cross-section and cooler charge temperatures, yielding a seamless 5 WHP gain, aligning perfectly with your performance enhancements. The PERRIN Top Mount Intercooler significantly reduces air charge intake temperatures, by up to 14F when compared to the OEM core under identical conditions.
Exceptional Core Size:
A larger core translates to reduced restriction and superior cooling capabilities, translating into more horsepower. The PERRIN core measures 21.87" wide x 7.64" deep x 3.95" thick, boasting a volume just over 660 cubic inches, making it the largest core available on the market.
Innovative Design:
The PERRIN Intercooler Core is 88% larger than the stock intercooler, offering a high-flow design that consistently delivers impressive horsepower gains.
Smooth pathways in the PERRIN End Tanks minimize air turbulence, further enhancing horsepower.Threaded mounting holes featuring stainless-steel inserts ensure easy installation and superior holding power.
Enhanced Efficiency:
The PERRIN TMIC removes the restrictive OEM plastic tube, establishing a more efficient connection from the charge pipe to the intercooler. It ingeniously transforms the factory air path, eliminating two 90-degree turns, and creates a single, even pathway distributed across the entire intercooler.
Optimized Flow:
The 3/8 bar and plate design surpasses traditional tube and fin cores in durability and flow.Flow volume charge tubes increase air charge volume by an impressive 114%, while ambient flow channels boost flow through the core by 37%.
Style and Protection:
Every PERRIN Intercooler Core features a powder coat Stealth Black finish to safeguard your intercooler from the elements.
Perfect Pairing:
The PERRIN Top Mount Intercooler pairs seamlessly with the PERRIN Top Mount Intercooler Bracket.
Pressure-Tested Assurance:
PERRIN stands out as one of the very few intercooler manufacturers that rigorously pressure tests every intercooler to 50 psi, preventing even the slightest leak that could compromise turbo-boost pressure and vehicle performance.
