Ohlins Road & Track Coilover System (Excl. Electric Shock Models) – 2022-2026 Subaru WRX (VB)

Description:

Ohlins Road & Track Coilover System (Excl. Electric Shock Models) - 2022-2026 Subaru WRX (VB)

The Definitive Suspension Upgrade for the VB WRX
The Ohlins Road & Track Coilover System for the VB Subaru WRX delivers a genuine performance suspension upgrade for a car that arrived from the factory with one of the most sophisticated chassis in its class. Built around Ohlins' patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology and monotube architecture, this system transforms how the VB WRX handles on road and track while preserving the everyday drivability that makes it such a compelling all-rounder. Note: this kit is not compatible with VB WRX models equipped from the factory with electronic/active suspension.

What DFV Means for the VB WRX
The VB WRX chassis is highly responsive to suspension changes, and the Ohlins DFV technology makes the most of that sensitivity. By routing damper fluid along a consistent path in both compression and rebound, DFV ensures the wheel returns to the road surface with the same authority it absorbs bumps with. On the VB's Symmetrical AWD platform, this translates into more consistent grip at all four corners, better traction out of slow corners, and a more predictable rear end under trail braking. The monotube design supports higher operating temperatures than a conventional twin-tube coilover, which matters during extended track sessions.

Precision Adjustability for Road and Track
Ride height is set through the strut body rather than the spring perch, giving you a more precise and geometry-friendly adjustment range. The 20+ click damping adjuster covers everything from a comfortable daily setting to a firm track configuration with a simple turn of the adjuster knob. Inverted front struts reduce unsprung weight at the front axle, sharpening the steering response that VB WRX owners already appreciate. Whether you are setting up the car for a weekend at the track or dialing in ride height for a cleaner look on the street, the adjustment range here covers every realistic use case.

Hardware, Serviceability, and Warranty
The aluminum shock bodies reduce overall weight and improve heat management during demanding use. The system is rebuildable through Ohlins' dealer network, which means you are investing in a suspension setup that can be refreshed rather than replaced when it eventually wears. All necessary hardware, dustcovers, and a ride height adjustment tool are included to support a clean installation. The two-year warranty backs up the engineering pedigree.

Why Choose Ohlins

Ohlins has been engineering suspension systems for motorsport at the highest levels since 1976, supplying teams in MotoGP, Formula 1, and World Rally Championship. That racing heritage is not just marketing -- it is reflected in the materials, tolerances, and engineering decisions that go into every Road & Track unit. The DFV technology, the rebuildable monotube architecture, and the corrosion testing standards are all direct products of Ohlins' competition experience applied to street and track use. When you put Ohlins under your car, you are getting a product validated under conditions far more demanding than anything most owners will ever encounter.

The RallySport Take

The VB WRX is a genuinely capable performance sedan, and the Ohlins Road & Track system is one of the best ways to close the gap between what it does from the factory and what it is capable of on a real road or track. The DFV technology makes a meaningful difference in how the AWD platform puts power down and recovers from bumps mid-corner. If you are running your VB at track days or simply want a suspension that keeps up with everything else the car can do, this is what we would put on it. Just confirm your car does not have the factory electronic suspension option before ordering.
