Moroso Oil Accumulator Heavy Duty 3QT – Universal

Description:

Moroso Oil Accumulator Heavy Duty 3QT Universal

RallySport Direct carries a great selection of oil accumulators and accumulator accessories brought to you by Moroso.

Here, you are looking at the Moroso Heavy-Duty 3-Quart Oil Accumulator. This accumulator has been designed to prevent oil starvation in your engine under high-G-forces, hard braking and acceleration, and high-speed cornering. This is an ideal component for those of you who participate in high-performance driving conditions who need that extra insurance for your engine.

DETAILS:

• 3-quart capacity
• Taps into the pressure side of the engine's oiling system
• When the engine is running, oil pressure forces reserve oil into the accumulator and compresses the air ahead
• If oil pressure should suddenly drop because of hard acceleration, severe cornering or hard braking, the air pressure immediately sends oil to the main galleries
• When the danger is over and the pump is once again primed with oil, the oil pressure forces oil back into the Accumulator where it is ready for the next emergency
• Provides an instantaneous supply of oil when the pressure falls below a safe level
• Can also be used to manually pre-lube engines before starting to prevent cold-start scuffing and premature bearing wear
