IAG Rally X Skid Plate – 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / STI

Description:

IAG Rally X Skid Plate -- 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / STI

Protect the Front Underside for Rally and Off-Road Use
The IAG Rally X Skid Plate provides protection for the underside of 2002-2007 WRX and STI models -- protecting the oil pan, transmission, and other vulnerable components from rock strikes and trail debris in rally, autocross, and off-road environments. Designed for performance applications where the vehicle may encounter irregular terrain or high-speed low-clearance conditions.

DETAILS

• Designed for rally, autocross, and off-road use
• Protects oil pan, transmission, and underside components from impact damage
• Direct bolt-on installation
• Fits: 2002-2007 WRX / STI

Rally and Gravel Applications
Rally stage driving and gravel autocross expose the underbody to rocks, gravel, and debris impacts that can crack or puncture the oil pan. A skid plate is mandatory equipment for these applications and significantly reduces the risk of catastrophic oil loss from a rock strike.

Construction
IAG's skid plate is designed for rally X applications -- built to absorb impacts and protect critical underbody components while fitting within the space constraints of the 02-07 WRX and STI chassis.

Track Use
In addition to rally and off-road use, the skid plate provides peace of mind on track layouts with kerbs or in autocross environments where the car may bottom out.

Why Choose IAG Performance

IAG Performance has been building Subaru-specific engine and drivetrain components since 2001, and in that time they have become the standard by which serious Subaru builds are measured. Based in Westminster, Maryland, IAG designs, machines, and assembles their products in-house using Haas CNC equipment and their own engineering team. Their catalog spans everything from short blocks and long blocks rated to 1150 BHP all the way down to the fuel system, oiling, and drivetrain hardware that keeps modified Subarus running reliably for years. Every IAG product exists because a problem needed a better solution than what was available -- and the engineering shows.

The RallySport Take

The IAG Rally X Skid Plate is essential equipment for any 02-07 WRX or STI being used in rally, gravel autocross, or any environment where the underside is exposed to impact hazards. Protect the oil pan -- the cost of the skid plate is nothing compared to the cost of a holed pan on a stage.
