IAG Race Series Solid Engine Mounts – Subaru Models (inc. 2008-2014 WRX / 05-09 Legacy GT)

Description:

IAG Race Series Solid Engine Mounts -- 2008-2014 WRX / 2005-2009 Legacy GT

Zero-Compliance Engine Mounts for the 08-14 Race Platform
The IAG Race Series Solid Engine Mounts for 2008-2014 WRX and 2005-2009 Legacy GT deliver zero-compliance engine mounting for dedicated race vehicles. Identical construction to the 02-07 Race Series mounts, these are appropriate only for competition vehicles where NVH is managed through other means and maximum engine rigidity is required.

DETAILS

• Series: Race -- solid mount (zero compliance)
• Cold-rolled cadmium-plated steel brackets
• 6061 billet aluminum anodized carriers
• Completely eliminates engine movement
• NOT appropriate for street-driven vehicles
• Requires use of OEM engine mounting plates
• Sold as a pair
• Fits: 2008-2014 WRX / 2005-2009 Legacy GT

Race-Only Specification
Solid mounts are for dedicated competition vehicles. In a stripped, caged race car, the NVH from solid engine mounts is acceptable. In a street car, the constant vibration transmission into the cabin is uncomfortable for daily use.

Construction Details
Cold-rolled cadmium-plated steel brackets and 6061 billet aluminum anodized carriers match the construction of IAG's full engine mount lineup. Requires OEM engine mounting plates.

Choosing Between Race and Competition Spec
If the car commutes or drives to events under its own power, the 90A Competition mount is the more practical choice. If it lives in a trailer between events, the Race Series solid mount is the specification.

Why Choose IAG Performance

IAG Performance has been building Subaru-specific engine and drivetrain components since 2001, and in that time they have become the standard by which serious Subaru builds are measured. Based in Westminster, Maryland, IAG designs, machines, and assembles their products in-house using Haas CNC equipment and their own engineering team. Their catalog spans everything from short blocks and long blocks rated to 1150 BHP all the way down to the fuel system, oiling, and drivetrain hardware that keeps modified Subarus running reliably for years. Every IAG product exists because a problem needed a better solution than what was available -- and the engineering shows.

The RallySport Take

The IAG Race Series solid mounts for the 08-14 WRX are for the dedicated competition car. Maximum rigidity, no NVH management -- this is the spec for a stripped race car, not a street car.
