IAG Competition Series Transmission Mount – Subaru Models (inc. 2002-2021 WRX)

Description:

IAG Competition Series Transmission Mount -- 2002-2021 WRX (5-Speed)

Maximum Drivetrain Control for Performance WRX Builds
The IAG Competition Series Transmission Mount for the 5-speed WRX is fitted with 90A red durometer bushings in a CNC-machined billet aluminum body. At 90A, this is the stiffest bushing option available for this application, providing maximum drivetrain control for track use and high-performance driving. Approximately 30% stiffer than Group N specification, it is the correct choice when performance takes priority over NVH.

DETAILS

• Series: Competition -- 90A red durometer bushings
• CNC-machined solid billet aluminum body
• Approximately 30% stiffer than Group N mount spec
• 5-speed compatible (2002-2021 WRX)
• Flush-mount hardware design
• Includes (4) Allen socket head mounting screws
• Bushing can be downgraded to 75A Street spec (sold separately)

90A Durometer -- Track-Optimized
The 90A Competition bushing minimizes transmission movement under the loads generated by performance driving -- hard launches, aggressive corner exits, and power transitions that would flex a softer mount. The trade-off is increased NVH compared to 55A or 75A options, which is expected at competition durometer levels.

Billet Aluminum Body
The CNC-machined billet aluminum body provides a more durable, precise mounting foundation than the OEM rubber unit and will outlast multiple bushing replacements. The modular design means you are investing in the mount body once and upgrading the bushings as needed.

Flush-Mount Hardware
IAG's flush-mount hardware design means the mount can be installed without taking it apart. The four included Allen socket head screws provide all the mounting hardware needed, and the flush design keeps a clean appearance in the engine bay.

Why Choose IAG Performance

IAG Performance has been building Subaru-specific engine and drivetrain components since 2001, and in that time they have become the standard by which serious Subaru builds are measured. Based in Westminster, Maryland, IAG designs, machines, and assembles their products in-house using Haas CNC equipment and their own engineering team. Their catalog spans everything from short blocks and long blocks rated to 1150 BHP all the way down to the fuel system, oiling, and drivetrain hardware that keeps modified Subarus running reliably for years. Every IAG product exists because a problem needed a better solution than what was available -- and the engineering shows.

The RallySport Take

The IAG Competition mount is for the 5-speed WRX owner who takes their car to the track and wants maximum drivetrain control. The 90A bushing is the right spec for sustained performance driving -- it plants the transmission and eliminates the slop that makes modified WRX builds feel imprecise under power.
