Description:

IAG Competition Series Engine Mounts -- 2002-2007 WRX / 2004+ STI

Track-Grade Engine Mounts for the 02-07 WRX Platform
The IAG Competition Series Engine Mounts for 2002-2007 WRX and 2004+ STI are fitted with 90A red durometer bushings -- approximately 30% stiffer than Group N specification. Designed for road course, drag strip, and performance driving applications, they provide maximum engine stability under the lateral and longitudinal loads of high-performance driving. Sold as a pair with 8 red 90A durometer bushings and hardware.

DETAILS

• 6061 billet aluminum anodized carriers
• Requires use of OEM engine mounting plates
• Sold as a pair -- includes (8) red 90A durometer bushings and hardware
• Bushing stiffness adjustable via separate bushing kit
• Fits: 2002-2007 WRX / 2004+ STI

90A Competition Durometer
The 90A bushings provide the engine stability needed for track and race use -- hard cornering, aggressive launches, and the sustained loads of performance driving. There is an NVH increase compared to 75A Street spec, which is the expected trade-off at this durometer level.

Built for Track Use
Cold-rolled steel brackets, cadmium plating, and 6061 billet aluminum carriers are the same proven construction used across IAG's engine mount lineup. The competition spec is appropriate for regular track use where OEM or street-spec mounts would flex under load.

OEM Mounting Plates Required
Requires OEM engine mounting plates. Ensure these are in good condition before installation.

Why Choose IAG Performance

IAG Performance has been building Subaru-specific engine and drivetrain components since 2001, and in that time they have become the standard by which serious Subaru builds are measured. Based in Westminster, Maryland, IAG designs, machines, and assembles their products in-house using Haas CNC equipment and their own engineering team. Their catalog spans everything from short blocks and long blocks rated to 1150 BHP all the way down to the fuel system, oiling, and drivetrain hardware that keeps modified Subarus running reliably for years. Every IAG product exists because a problem needed a better solution than what was available -- and the engineering shows.

The RallySport Take

The IAG Competition engine mounts for the 02-07 WRX give you the same performance advantage as the 08-14 version for the earlier platform. If your car sees regular track use, the 90A spec keeps the engine planted through the corner exits and hard launches that expose weaker mounts.
