Description:
HKS Super SQV4 Blow Off Valve - 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evo X
Sequential Suction Valve Technology
The HKS Super SQV (Sequential Suction Valve) is developed through HKS's turbocharger engineering program -- a company that builds complete turbo kits understands what happens at the compressor inlet. The SQV4 uses a sequential valve mechanism that provides smooth boost response across the full pressure range, protecting the compressor wheel from surge and improving boost recovery speed after gear changes.
Details
- Pull-type sequential valve structure
- The new differential pressure control system allows for stable operating ranges from low to high-boost pressures
- Includes vacuum line filter
- Includes circlip, T-fittings, and zip ties
- Includes recirculation connectors
- Includes factory-like flange to bolt onto the intercooler
Atmospheric and Recirculating Configurations
The sequential valve design progressively vents pressure rather than opening fully at once, providing smoother boost response on re-engagement and reducing abrupt pressure changes. Available in atmospheric configurations (vents to atmosphere, produces characteristic BOV sound) and recirculating return kit versions for applications requiring recirculation. Return kits are available for vehicles where atmospheric venting causes issues with MAF-based fuel metering.
Why Choose HKS
HKS has been engineering performance automotive components since 1973, building a global reputation through motorsport involvement at the highest levels of circuit racing, rally, drag, and time attack. Their product range covers virtually every aspect of engine and chassis performance, with each product developed through in-house testing and real-world validation on the specific vehicles it is designed for. For Subaru, Toyota, and Honda performance builds, HKS offers some of the most platform-specific aftermarket engineering available.
The RallySport Take
The SQV4 is a proven, well-engineered BOV from a brand that develops complete turbocharger systems. For Civic Type R, WRX, STI, Evo, and Supra applications it is a solid choice. Confirm the correct adapter and configuration for your specific application -- atmospheric vs recirculating matters for tuned MAF-based applications.
