Description:
HKS Subaru Replacement Steering Wheel - 2015-2021 Subaru WRX / STI
HKS Replacement Steering Wheel
HKS offers a replacement steering wheel for the target platform providing a more driver-focused feel than the factory unit. Smaller diameter and thicker rim vs OEM improve steering feedback and reduce effort for quick direction changes. Designed specifically for the target vehicle with matched hub adapter and column wiring.
Details
- Smaller diameter than OEM for improved driver feedback and steering feel
- Thicker rim grip section for positive hand feel during dynamic driving
- Vehicle-specific hub adapter and wiring configuration for plug-in installation
- Airbag system must be disabled before removing factory wheel
- Factory airbag wheel cannot be reinstalled after removal -- motorsport modification
Installation and Airbag Note
Replacing the steering wheel on a modern vehicle with an airbag requires disabling the airbag system before removing the factory wheel. The replacement wheel does not include an airbag -- this is a motorsport modification. Confirm local regulations regarding airbag deletion before proceeding.
Why Choose HKS
HKS has been engineering performance automotive components since 1973, building a global reputation through motorsport involvement at the highest levels of circuit racing, rally, drag, and time attack. Their product range covers virtually every aspect of engine and chassis performance, with each product developed through in-house testing and real-world validation on the specific vehicles it is designed for. For Subaru, Toyota, and Honda performance builds, HKS offers some of the most platform-specific aftermarket engineering available.
The RallySport Take
The HKS steering wheel is a driver-focused modification for builds being developed seriously. Smaller diameter and better rim feel make a noticeable difference in a car that is already good to drive. Note the airbag deletion -- appropriate for track-focused builds.
