HKS HIPERMAX-G Coilover Kit – 2015-2021 Subaru WRX

Description:

HKS HIPERMAX-G Coilover Kit - 2015-2021 Subaru WRX

HKS Hipermax Suspension Engineering
The HKS Hipermax line is the product of decades of suspension development through motorsport application and real-world testing. Each kit is designed for a specific platform, with spring rates, damping curves, and upper mount geometry validated through HKS's own testing program. The Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS) suppresses unnecessary damping forces at higher piston speeds, achieving the balance of handling performance and ride comfort that separates the Hipermax from generic coilover designs.

Details

• Single-tube monotube shock absorber construction for consistent, predictable damping
• Dual preload valve system (Dual PVS) suppresses unnecessary damping force at high piston speeds
• Application-specific spring rates and damping curves validated through HKS in-house testing
• Evolved bump stop rubber design reduces body roll while maintaining ride compliance
• Low-friction technology developed through advanced tribology research
• Ride height and damping adjustable independently

Single-Tube Monotube and Low-Friction Technology
HKS uses single-tube monotube shock absorber construction for consistent damping response and an evolved bump stop rubber design that reduces body roll while maintaining compliance over road irregularities. Low-friction technology developed through advanced tribology research reduces internal losses across the full damper stroke. The Hipermax R features inverted front struts and pillow ball upper mounts for maximum performance; the Hipermax S delivers the same philosophy with standard monotube dampers for more street-focused builds.

Why Choose HKS
HKS has been engineering performance automotive components since 1973, building a global reputation through motorsport involvement at the highest levels of circuit racing, rally, drag, and time attack. Their product range covers virtually every aspect of engine and chassis performance, with each product developed through in-house testing and real-world validation on the specific vehicles it is designed for. For Subaru, Toyota, and Honda performance builds, HKS offers some of the most platform-specific aftermarket engineering available.

The RallySport Take

For Civic Type R, WRX, STI, BRZ, 86, and Supra builds that want a genuine handling improvement without sacrificing street rideability, the Hipermax line is one of the most thoroughly developed options available. HKS designs for the specific platform -- the spring rates and damping characteristics reflect actual in-house testing on the target chassis.
