GrimmSpeed Throttle Body Gasket – 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Evo 8/9

Description:

GrimmSpeed Throttle Body Gasket, 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Evo 8/9

The GrimmSpeed Throttle Body Gasket is the correct replacement seal for the throttle body to intake manifold on 4G63T Evo 8/9 applications. Replace any time this connection is opened during service, reusing a previously compressed gasket risks leaks after reassembly.

DETAILS

• Application: seals throttle body to intake manifold
• High-temperature construction appropriate for application
• Replace any time the sealed connection is opened
• Engine: 4G63T Evo 8/9
• Fitment: 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII/IX

Exhaust and intake gaskets experience significant thermal cycling, vibration, and fluid exposure. Each time a gasketed connection is opened, the gasket should be replaced, a previously compressed gasket does not return to its original thickness and may not seal correctly when retorqued. GrimmSpeed's gaskets use materials appropriate for the thermal and chemical environment of the specific connection.

This is the correct specification for this connection on the 4G63T Evo 8/9 engine.

Why Choose GrimmSpeed

GrimmSpeed has been engineering performance parts for Subaru platforms from their Portland, Oregon facility since 2003. Everything they make is designed around real-world use, their engineers drive the same cars their customers drive, which means product decisions are made with genuine platform knowledge behind them. GrimmSpeed designs parts in-house, sources quality materials, and validates fitment on the actual application before release. The result is parts that install correctly the first time, perform as advertised, and hold up under the conditions Subaru owners actually subject their cars to. Whether it is a critical engine component or a cosmetic upgrade, the same attention to detail and fit quality applies across the catalog.
