GrimmSpeed Radiator Shroud Black – 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI

Description:

Clean Engine Bay, Directed Airflow The GrimmSpeed Radiator Shroud for the VA WRX/STI

The GrimmSpeed Radiator Shroud in Black for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI covers the exposed area above the radiator core with a finished panel that improves engine bay aesthetics and helps direct airflow through the radiator core rather than around it. The black powdercoated finish coordinates with other GrimmSpeed engine bay hardware.

Directed Airflow and Engine Bay Presentation Two Problems, One Part

The stock Subaru VA WRX/STI engine bay has an open gap above the radiator that allows intake air to bypass the radiator core rather than passing through it reducing cooling efficiency at low speeds when ram air pressure is not forcing air through the core. The GrimmSpeed shroud covers this gap and directs incoming air through the radiator for improved low-speed cooling performance. The finished panel surface also eliminates the raw, unfinished appearance of the open engine bay in this area.

Bolt-In at Factory Mounting Points No Modification Required

The GrimmSpeed radiator shroud bolts directly to the factory mounting points in the VA WRX/STI engine bay. No drilling, no modification to the radiator or surrounding components. The powdercoated finish resists chipping and fading.

About GrimmSpeed

GrimmSpeed is a Pacific Northwest-based performance parts manufacturer that has been building Subaru-specific hardware since 2003. Founded by engineers who were actively building and racing Subarus themselves, GrimmSpeed's catalog reflects the priorities of people who use the products they make turbo inlets, downpipes, uppipes, boost controllers, intercoolers, and engine bay accessories designed specifically for the EJ and FA-series Subaru platforms. Every GrimmSpeed product is engineered, tested, and refined in-house, and their focus on Subaru means the fitment and function reflect a deep understanding of the specific platforms they cover. Subispeed carries the full GrimmSpeed catalog because their approach to product development consistently produces parts that perform as advertised and fit correctly out of the box.
