GrimmSpeed Delrin Cool Touch Oil Cap Version 2 – Universal

Description:

GrimmSpeed Version 2 Oil Cap (Delrin), Universal Subaru

The GrimmSpeed Version 2 Oil Cap in delrin is a direct thread-on replacement for the factory Subaru oil filler cap. Delrin has much lower thermal conductivity than aluminum, it remains cooler to the touch after the engine has been running, making warm-engine oil checks noticeably more comfortable. The OEM plastic cap discolors and degrades over time, the GrimmSpeed unit provides a more durable, better-looking alternative.

DETAILS

• Material: Delrin
• Color: Delrin
• Direct thread-on replacement
• Delrin stays cooler than aluminum to the touch
• Fitment: Universal Subaru

The factory Subaru oil cap is plastic, it discolors, degrades, and looks worse over the life of the engine. The GrimmSpeed delrin cap does not share those failure modes. It threads correctly, maintains its appearance, and handles heat cycling without degrading. Delrin has much lower thermal conductivity than aluminum, it remains cooler to the touch after the engine has been running, making warm-engine oil checks noticeably more comfortable.

Installation is a direct thread swap at the oil filler neck, no tools, no modifications. Engine bay builds benefit from attending to small visible details like the oil cap, they accumulate into a finished overall appearance.

Why Choose GrimmSpeed

GrimmSpeed has been engineering performance parts for Subaru platforms from their Portland, Oregon facility since 2003. Everything they make is designed around real-world use, their engineers drive the same cars their customers drive, which means product decisions are made with genuine platform knowledge behind them. GrimmSpeed designs parts in-house, sources quality materials, and validates fitment on the actual application before release. The result is parts that install correctly the first time, perform as advertised, and hold up under the conditions Subaru owners actually subject their cars to. Whether it is a critical engine component or a cosmetic upgrade, the same attention to detail and fit quality applies across the catalog.

The RallySport Take

The GrimmSpeed oil cap goes on once and stays looking correct permanently. Simple upgrade, permanent result. Fits universal Subaru applications with standard oil filler thread.
