Description:
Flat Out Suspension GR40R Coilovers - 2008-2014 Subaru WRX
The Flatout Suspension GR40R is the evolved version of the proven GR40 coilover system, purpose-built for rally, rallycross, and competitive motorsport applications. While the original GR40 set the standard for rally-strength durability and precise control with inverted dampers, the GR40R enhances performance with external reservoirs on all four shocks. These reservoirs increase oil capacity to reduce heat buildup and eliminate fade under intense conditions, ensuring consistent damping through long rally stages, rallycross runs, or track sessions. The result is a suspension that delivers dependable performance when other systems reach their limits.
Who Is the GR40R For?
Rally Drivers Designed for competitors who demand consistency over long, demanding stages.
Rallycross Racers Perfect for short, high-intensity events that push damping performance to the limit.
Motorsport Enthusiasts Great for grassroots teams seeking professional-grade endurance and control.
Builders & Tuners Ideal for custom builds requiring a strong, tunable, rally-spec suspension system.
