COBB Tuning SF Intake and Airbox Black – 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed3

Description:

Cobb SF Intake + Airbox Black 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed3

The Cobb SF Black Intake + Airbox for the 2010-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 combines the SF intake cone filter and aluminum tube with the SF enclosed airbox for an improved cold-air intake path. The airbox encloses the cone filter and draws air from outside the engine bay heat zone, providing the airflow improvement of the cone filter with better thermal isolation than an open intake.

DETAILS

• Includes: Cobb SF Black Intake + SF Airbox
• Platform: 2010-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3
• SF Airbox: enclosed cold-air path draws from outside engine bay heat zone
• SF Intake: high-flow cone filter and aluminum tube
• Designed for use with Cobb Accessport SF intake OTS maps

Design and Construction

The SF Airbox addresses the heat soak limitation of open cone filter intakes. During sustained performance driving, engine bay temperatures rise and an open cone filter draws progressively warmer air. The SF Airbox encloses the cone filter in a sealed structure with a cold-air inlet that draws from outside the engine bay heat zone, combining the airflow capacity of the cone filter with better thermal isolation.

Performance and Installation

The SF intake and airbox system is designed to work with the Cobb Accessport SF intake OTS maps the calibration accounts for the combined characteristics of the SF intake and enclosed airbox. All hardware and couplers for the complete installation are included.

Why Choose Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance software and hardware for turbocharged enthusiast vehicles since 1999. Founded in Austin, Texas, Cobb built its reputation on the Accessport and expanded into a full catalog of hardware engineered to complement it. Every OTS map is developed in-house on real vehicles, and every hardware product is validated as part of a complete system not sourced and sold in isolation. That integrated approach is why Cobb produces consistent, reliable results across the builds we see every day.

The RallySport Take

The Cobb SF Black Intake + Airbox for the 2010-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is the correct complete intake system upgrade for this platform. Designed for use with the Cobb Accessport.
