COBB Tuning Redline Carbon Fiber Intake – Subaru WRX 2015-2021

Description:

Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Intake 2015-2021 Subaru WRX

The Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Intake for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX provides high-flow intake performance with carbon fiber construction that reduces heat soak into the intake air. The CF airbox lid's lower thermal conductivity limits engine bay heat transfer into the enclosed intake air during sustained performance driving.

DETAILS

• Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Intake
• Platform: 2015-2021 Subaru WRX
• Carbon fiber lid: low thermal conductivity reduced heat soak vs metal/plastic
• Polished aluminum intake tube
• High-flow cone filter
• MAF sensor retained for accurate air mass measurement
• Designed for use with Cobb Accessport Redline CF OTS maps

Design and Construction

The Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Intake uses carbon fiber for the airbox structure, providing lower thermal conductivity than aluminum or plastic. Carbon fiber transfers heat from the surrounding engine bay into the enclosed intake air poorly compared to metal structures this reduces heat soak into the intake air during sustained high-performance driving or track sessions where engine bay temperatures rise. Cooler intake air is denser air, providing more oxygen per unit volume. The polished aluminum intake tube complements the carbon fiber structure in both function and appearance.

Performance and Installation

The SF Intake is designed to work with a Cobb Accessport OTS map calibrated specifically for the SF intake configuration the calibration accounts for the improved airflow characteristics, MAF position in the new tube, and the change in intake air temperature behavior. Installing the SF intake with the correct Accessport SF intake map produces a validated system where hardware and calibration work together, and the full improvement in throttle response and power delivery is realized from the first drive.

Why Choose Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance software and hardware for turbocharged enthusiast vehicles since 1999. Founded in Austin, Texas, Cobb built its reputation on the Accessport and expanded into a full catalog of hardware engineered to complement it. Every OTS map is developed in-house on real vehicles, and every hardware product is validated as part of a complete system not sourced and sold in isolation. That integrated approach is why Cobb produces consistent, reliable results across the builds we see every day.

The RallySport Take

The Cobb Redline CF Intake for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is the premium intake option for Accessport-equipped builds performance improvement alongside the thermal advantage of carbon fiber construction. Requires Cobb Accessport with Redline CF intake OTS maps.
