Description:

Cobb Top Mount Intercooler Kit Silver 2019-2026 Subaru Ascent

The Cobb Top Mount Intercooler Kit for the 2019-2026 Subaru Ascent in silver upgrades the factory TMIC with a larger Cobb unit that provides improved charge air cooling within the stock top mount intercooler position. The kit includes the TMIC core and charge pipe kit for a complete installation.

DETAILS

• Complete TMIC Kit: silver core + charge pipe kit
• Platform: 2019-2026 Subaru Ascent
• TMIC core: silver finish, larger core than factory for improved charge cooling
• Charge pipe kit included for complete installation
• Factory TMIC mounting points no hood or scoop modification required
• Designed for Cobb Accessport TMIC OTS maps

TMIC Upgrade: Larger Core, Improved Charge Cooling in Stock Position

The Cobb TMIC upgrade replaces the factory top mount intercooler with a larger-core unit that provides improved charge air cooling capacity within the stock intercooler position. The factory TMIC core is sized conservatively for stock boost levels as calibration work pushes boost targets higher, the factory core becomes increasingly limiting. The Cobb TMIC upgrade's larger core handles higher boost levels with lower charge air temperatures, enabling the Accessport TMIC OTS maps to target more aggressive calibration than is safe with the factory unit.

Charge Pipe Inclusion and Accessport TMIC Map Compatibility

The Cobb TMIC uses the factory mounting points and hood scoop interface no modification to the hood or scoop is required. The charge pipe included in the kit routes correctly for the platform without custom fabrication. For builds that eventually progress to a full NexGen Stage 2 front mount intercooler system, the TMIC upgrade is a meaningful intermediate step that improves charge cooling while retaining the factory intercooler position. Accessport TMIC OTS maps are calibrated for the upgraded core.

Why Choose Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance software and hardware for turbocharged enthusiast vehicles since 1999. Founded in Austin, Texas, Cobb built its reputation on the Accessport and expanded into a full catalog of hardware engineered to complement it. Every OTS map is developed in-house on real vehicles, and every hardware product is validated as part of a complete system not sourced and sold in isolation. That integrated approach is why Cobb produces consistent, reliable results across the builds we see every day.

The RallySport Take

The Cobb TMIC upgrade for the 2019-2026 Subaru Ascent is the intercooler upgrade for Accessport-equipped builds that want improved charge cooling within the factory TMIC position. The silver core is visible through the hood scoop opening. Designed for use with Cobb Accessport TMIC OTS maps which are calibrated for the upgraded core's cooling capacity.
