COBB Camber Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arm Set – 2015-2021 Subaru WRX / STI

Description:

Cobb Camber Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arm Set 2015-2021 Subaru WRX / STI

The Cobb Camber Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arm Set for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX provides rear negative camber adjustment capability for lowered or performance-aligned VA WRX and STI builds. The adjustable arms restore correct rear camber after lowering when the factory camber adjustment range is insufficient.

DETAILS

• Rear lower control arm camber adjustable
• Restores correct rear camber after lowering beyond factory adjustment range
• Spherical rod ends for precise adjustment and reduced compliance vs rubber
• All hardware included

Control Arm Geometry: Standard

Control arm geometry determines the relationship between the wheel, the hub, and the chassis as the suspension travels up and down, the control arm geometry defines how the wheel's camber, toe, and track width change. On a stock suspension alignment, the control arm length and geometry are fixed from the factory to a specific alignment specification. When the car is lowered whether through lowering springs, coilovers, or even manufacturing variation the control arm geometry changes relative to the intended design position, producing camber and toe that falls outside the factory specification range. Cobb's adjustable control arms add adjustment capability to bring the alignment back within specification, or to set the alignment to a more performance-oriented position.

Alignment Adjustment Range and Spherical Rod End Precision

Adjustable control arms use eccentric bolts, slotted mounting points, or adjustable length rod ends to provide a range of adjustment at the wheel. The camber-adjustable rear lower control arm allows negative camber to be dialed in at the rear negative camber keeps more of the tire contact patch on the road surface during cornering where suspension load causes the wheel to lean outward. The toe arm adjustment provides rear toe control small amounts of rear toe-in improve stability under deceleration and during the entry phase of corners. Both adjustments are made with the car at ride height and locked in place they do not require ongoing adjustment during normal driving. The adjustable rear lower control arms provide the camber correction that lowered VA WRX and STI builds require. Factory adjustment range is limited when the car is lowered beyond what the factory eccentric bolts can correct, the adjustable control arms extend the available range to achieve the correct alignment specification.

Why Choose Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance software and hardware for turbocharged enthusiast vehicles since 1999. Founded in Austin, Texas, Cobb built its reputation on the Accessport and expanded into a full catalog of hardware engineered to complement it. Every OTS map is developed in-house on real vehicles, and every hardware product is validated as part of a complete system not sourced and sold in isolation. That integrated approach is why Cobb produces consistent, reliable results across the builds we see every day.

The RallySport Take

The Cobb adjustable rear lower control arm set for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is the alignment correction solution for VA WRX and STI builds that have been lowered or that require alignment adjustment beyond the factory range for performance driving.
