Description:
Your Porsche's Entry & Drive port sits front and center on the dashboard. Porsche installs a flat black plug by default. On a car where every other detail is considered, that's the one they left unfinished. This fixes it.
The AutoTecknic Painted Ignition Switch is a direct-fit replacement for the stock key plug, finished in a properly painted ABS housing matched to popular Porsche exterior paint codes. Not a vinyl wrap. Not a painted-over original. A purpose-built replacement that drops in exactly where the factory plug came out, flush and tight, like it was always supposed to be that way.
What Makes This Different
There are vinyl overlay kits and stick-on covers that claim to do what this does. They don't. This is a molded ABS housing finished in actual color, the same way painted trim pieces are produced. It sits with the same depth and texture you'd expect from a factory-finished piece, because it's built the same way.

- Boxster 981 / 718 (2013-2026)
- Cayman 981 / 718 (2013-2026)
- 911 Carrera 991.1 / 991.2 (2013-2019)

- Panamera 970 (2009-2016)
- Macan Gasoline (2014-2026)
Not sure if your car has Entry & Drive? Look for a cylindrical plug port on your center console near the ignition. If there is a removable plug already sitting in it, this fits.
Installation Notes
No tools required. Total install time under two minutes.
- Rotate the existing plug fully to the left and hold for approximately 30 seconds.
- You will hear an audible click when the mechanism releases. Remove the plug.
- On some models, keeping your remote key outside the vehicle and out of signal range makes removal cleaner.
- Seat the new plug and rotate to the right until it locks.
One small detail on your dash. Every drive, you will notice it. Make it right.
