ACT Release Bearing – 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z / Infiniti G35

Description:

ACT Release Bearing for the 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35

The ACT Release Bearing for 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z / Infiniti G35 is an OEM-quality replacement or upgrade bearing for clutch system installations. The release bearing engages the pressure plate diaphragm fingers when the clutch pedal is depressed, disengaging the clutch. Replacing the bearing at the same time as the clutch is the correct service practice, the bearing is inexpensive and the labor to replace it later requires removing the transmission again.

Why Choose ACT

Advanced Clutch Technology has been manufacturing performance clutch systems in the United States since 1993. Every ACT pressure plate uses a proprietary diaphragm design that increases clamp load and reduces deflection compared to OEM units, and every diaphragm goes through a four-stage heat-treating process before it leaves the factory. The result is a clutch system that holds more power than the stock unit, engages more precisely, and lasts longer under the kind of driving that wears factory clutches out quickly. ACT designs each application from scratch rather than modifying OEM tooling, which means the fitment is precise and the performance is intentional. Whether the build is a street-driven daily driver or a dedicated track car, ACT offers a kit at the correct specification for the use.

The RallySport Take

The ACT release bearing for this application is the correct part to have ready for any clutch installation. Replacing the release bearing at the same time as the clutch is standard practice the component is accessible only with the transmission removed, and the incremental cost of a new bearing is negligible compared to the labor cost of removing the transmission a second time if the original bearing fails. ACT release bearings are sized and rated for the application and compatible with both ACT and OEM clutch systems. Fits Nissan, Infiniti applications 2003-2006.
