Ram Air Flow and Under-Hood Temperature Management

The Cobb Power Scoop addresses under-hood temperature management by directing fresh ambient air into the engine bay through the hood opening. Turbocharged Subaru applications generate significant engine bay heat during sustained performance driving an engine bay that draws on ambient air from outside is naturally cooler than one that recirculates heat. The power scoop provides a directed fresh air path toward the intake system.

Material, Visual Integration, and Installation

The polished construction provides a premium finished appearance. The scoop is designed to integrate visually with the Cobb Redline CF intake system. Installation uses the factory hood scoop mounting points.

Why Choose Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance software and hardware for turbocharged enthusiast vehicles since 1999. Founded in Austin, Texas, Cobb built its reputation on the Accessport and expanded into a full catalog of hardware engineered to complement it. Every OTS map is developed in-house on real vehicles, and every hardware product is validated as part of a complete system not sourced and sold in isolation. That integrated approach is why Cobb produces consistent, reliable results across the builds we see every day.

The RallySport Take

The Cobb Power Scoop for the 2022-2024 Subaru WRX is for builds that want to address engine bay thermal management alongside intake system upgrades. It pairs naturally with the Cobb Redline CF intake for a complete visual and functional hood and intake package.
