Grimmspeed Top Mount Intercooler Silicone Coupler Kit Red – Subaru Models (inc. 2002-2014 WRX / 2004+ STI)

Description:

GrimmSpeed TMIC Silicone Coupler Kit (Red), Subaru WRX / STI

The GrimmSpeed TMIC Silicone Coupler Kit in red provides a complete set of silicone couplers for the TMIC connections on EJ-series Subaru applications. Silicone resists hardening and cracking with age and heat cycling, OEM rubber does not.

DETAILS

• Color: Red silicone
• Complete TMIC coupler set
• More durable than OEM rubber
• Maintains boost seal over wider temperature range
• Fitment: 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / 2004-2021 STI

OEM rubber TMIC couplers harden from continuous heat cycling and eventually crack, creating boost leaks that are difficult to locate because they only appear under pressure. Silicone maintains its compliance significantly longer than rubber.

The red silicone adds a visual upgrade alongside the functional improvement. Install during TMIC service or any time the TMIC circuit is opened.

Why Choose GrimmSpeed

GrimmSpeed has been engineering performance parts for Subaru platforms from their Portland, Oregon facility since 2003. Everything they make is designed around real-world use, their engineers drive the same cars their customers drive, which means product decisions are made with genuine platform knowledge behind them. GrimmSpeed designs parts in-house, sources quality materials, and validates fitment on the actual application before release. The result is parts that install correctly the first time, perform as advertised, and hold up under the conditions Subaru owners actually subject their cars to. Whether it is a critical engine component or a cosmetic upgrade, the same attention to detail and fit quality applies across the catalog.
