Whiteline Front Lower Control Arm Kit – 2002-2007 Subaru WRX

Description:

Whiteline Front Lower Control Arm Kit - 2002-2007 Subaru WRX

Alloy Arms, Corrected Geometry, Less Unsprung Weight
Whiteline's front lower control arm kit for the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX replaces the heavy OEM cast-iron arms with precision alloy units that save meaningful unsprung mass while simultaneously correcting front suspension geometry. On the GD WRX chassis, this translates to sharper wheel response over road imperfections, improved turn-in feel, and reduced bump steer -- all from a direct bolt-on replacement.

DETAILS

• High-quality alloy construction -- significant weight reduction over OEM cast iron
• Geometry corrections for improved caster and reduced bump steer
• Fits 2002-2007 Subaru WRX (GD chassis)
• Includes all mounting hardware
• Direct-fit replacement -- no modifications required

Unsprung Weight -- The Physics Behind the Benefit
Unsprung mass is everything that moves with the wheel. The heavier it is, the more momentum it has during vertical travel, and the harder the suspension works to change direction over bumps. Lighter control arms improve wheel response speed, keep the tyre in contact with the road more consistently, and reduce the harshness transmitted to the chassis. The benefit is real and noticeable on any road surface that isn't perfectly smooth.

Geometry That Works Better Than Stock
The GD WRX front suspension geometry has known limitations -- particularly around bump steer under cornering loads and the caster angle available at stock height. Whiteline's alloy arms are engineered with corrections that address these issues, producing a front end that tracks more precisely under load and gives you better feedback about what the front tyres are doing.

Proven on the GD Platform
The 2002-2007 GD WRX is a well-understood platform, and Whiteline has been building parts for it for years. These arms are developed and tested specifically for the GD chassis -- not adapted from another application. Fit, finish, and geometry are correct from the first install.

Why Choose Whiteline

Whiteline has been engineering suspension components from their facility in Australia since 1979. Every product in their catalog is developed with a clear goal: measurable improvement in handling, stability, and tyre contact. Whiteline's polyurethane bushings, sway bars, control arms, and alignment correction kits are engineered using finite element analysis and validated on track before they reach the market. Their components are direct-fit, bolt-on solutions designed for enthusiasts who want real performance gains without fabrication or custom work.

The RallySport Take

One of the most impactful single-component upgrades available for the GD WRX. Lighter arms with corrected geometry solve two problems at once and deliver an immediate improvement in how the front end feels and behaves.
