• Application-specific spring rates and fixed damper calibration for GD Subaru
• Wide adjustment range street drop to aggressive low stance
• Galvanized zinc-coated steel struts for corrosion protection
• No damper adjustment fixed valving optimized for daily-driven street use
• All hardware and mounting components included

ST X: Simple, Effective, Application-Specific Coilover

The ST X Coilover Kit is designed for the everyday driver who wants improved cornering composure and ride height adjustability without the complexity of damper adjustment. The design philosophy is straightforward: a well-engineered, application-specific spring and damper combination that improves on the factory suspension without requiring the owner to understand or adjust damping settings. The spring rates are calibrated specifically for this vehicle's weight, geometry, and intended use. KW engineering backs the damper design, using the same monoblock guide system, pressure-resistant sealing, and low-friction piston band found in ST's more advanced kits.

Height Adjustment Range, Fixed Damping, and Daily-Driver Focus

Height adjustment on ST coilovers is done by rotating the lower spring perch on the damper body the range is set specifically for the vehicle to provide useful lowering without compromising suspension travel. The polyamide composite perch with stainless insert means the height adjustment can be made and changed repeatedly without the seizing that plagues some coilovers. After any ride height adjustment, a four-wheel alignment is required to restore correct camber and toe. All mounting hardware, top mounts, and bump stop components for the complete installation are included.

Why Choose ST Suspensions

ST Suspensions is a European suspension brand backed by KW's engineering and manufacturing infrastructure. Every ST coilover kit is designed, tested, and validated on KW's shock dynos before shipping the factory-recommended damper settings in each kit's setup manual are the same settings the engineers verified on the dyno. ST coilovers are application-specific: spring rates, shock valving, and height adjustment range are calibrated for the specific vehicle rather than adapted from a universal platform. The polyamide composite spring perches with stainless steel inserts prevent the corrosion that causes many coilover kits to seize at the height adjustment interface over time. ST XTA kits add uniball camber-adjustable front top mounts hardware typically found only on purpose-built track coilovers. RallySport Direct stocks ST because they represent well-engineered, reliable handling upgrades for drivers who want results without motorsport complexity.

The RallySport Take

The ST X for the GD WRX and STI is for owners who want a significant improvement over the factory suspension and adjustable ride height without damper adjustment complexity. The KW-engineered fixed damper calibration is developed for this exact application. Wide height range, quality construction, simple operation.
