ST XTA Coilover Kit – 2005-2007 Subaru STI (5×114.3)

Description:

ST XTA Coilover Kit 2005-2007 Subaru WRX STI (5x114.3)

The ST XTA Coilover Kit for the 2005-2007 Subaru WRX STI on the 5x114.3 bolt pattern is the most capable coilover in the ST lineup, combining height-adjustable dampers, 16-position rebound damping adjustment, and aluminum uniball camber-adjustable front top mounts. The combination of ride height, damping, and camber adjustability makes the XTA the correct kit for STI owners who track their car, run high-performance street tires, or want the ability to dial in a purpose-specific alignment.

XTA Kit: Height, 16-Position Damping, and Camber Adjustment Combined

The ST XTA Coilover Kit combines height-adjustable dampers with a linear race spring system and aluminum uniball camber-adjustable front top mounts. These top mounts allow front camber to be set independently of ride height, enabling a performance alignment typically negative front camber for improved cornering grip without being constrained by what the factory eccentric bolt provides. The 16-position adjustable rebound damping dial allows the driver to tune shock response without removing the coilovers from the car. ST ships every XTA kit with factory-recommended damper settings developed on KW's shock dynos and documented in the included setup manual, providing a verified baseline to return to when experimenting with damper settings.

KW Dyno Validation, Setup Manual, and Polyamide Spring Perch

Height adjustment on ST coilovers is done by rotating the lower spring perch on the damper body the range is set specifically for the vehicle to provide useful lowering without compromising suspension travel. The polyamide composite perch with stainless insert means the height adjustment can be made and changed repeatedly without the seizing that plagues some coilovers. After any ride height adjustment, a four-wheel alignment is required to restore correct camber and toe. All mounting hardware, top mounts, and bump stop components for the complete installation are included.

Why Choose ST Suspensions

ST Suspensions is a European suspension brand backed by KW's engineering and manufacturing infrastructure. Every ST coilover kit is designed, tested, and validated on KW's shock dynos before shipping the factory-recommended damper settings in each kit's setup manual are the same settings the engineers verified on the dyno. ST coilovers are application-specific: spring rates, shock valving, and height adjustment range are calibrated for the specific vehicle rather than adapted from a universal platform. The polyamide composite spring perches with stainless steel inserts prevent the corrosion that causes many coilover kits to seize at the height adjustment interface over time. ST XTA kits add uniball camber-adjustable front top mounts hardware typically found only on purpose-built track coilovers. RallySport Direct stocks ST because they represent well-engineered, reliable handling upgrades for drivers who want results without motorsport complexity.

The RallySport Take

The ST XTA for the 2005-2007 STI delivers what STI owners want from an adjustable suspension: lower ride height, negative front camber capability, and tunable damper response all validated on KW's dynos with a known-good baseline to return to. The 5x114.3 fitment is specific to this GD chassis hub pattern.
