Many note the dramatic improvement in rear-end stability and overall drivability once worn factory springs are replaced, with several specifically praising mono-leaf designs for their performance characteristics. The consensus points to smoother ride quality and better weight management compared to tired stock setups. Some owners acknowledge that leaf spring systems can be inherently noisy due to metal-on-metal contact during compression, though this is considered normal for the design. For classic muscle car owners seeking improved handling without sacrificing the original suspension architecture, upgraded leaf springs have earned strong credibility in the enthusiast community.Key FeaturesGeometry Correcting Bolt-In Relocation BracketsReduce Roll Steer130 lb /in. springsLightweight 3 Leaf DesignLowers Vehicle approximately 1 in.High Durometer Polyurethane and Rubber BushingsWhy Choose the HOT Leaf SpringsAchieves precise alignment for predictable handling and reduced tire wear.Transforms cornering by minimizing unwanted rear-wheel steering effects.Delivers a balanced ride with improved responsiveness and control.Provides a lower center of gravity for enhanced stability and aggressive stance.Who Is This For?Track / Autocross 9/10Geometry correction, reduced roll steer, performance spring rate.Street Performance 8/10Lowers vehicle, reduces roll steer, performance spring rate.Racing Competition 8/10Geometry correction, reduced roll steer, performance spring rate.Easy DIY Install 7/10Bolt-on install type, geometry correcting brackets.Daily Driving Comfort 3/10Performance spring rate may reduce comfort.Visual / Aesthetic Upgrade 6/10Lowers vehicle approximately 1 inch.Frequently Asked QuestionsWhich vehicles are compatible with Hotchkis HOT Leaf Springs? These Hotchkis HOT Leaf Springs are designed for a direct bolt-on fitment for 1966-1976 Dodge Dart, Plymouth Barracuda, Duster, and Scamp models, along with one other specified application.
